Kristen has always had a passion for animals. It only seems fitting that she would end up with a career surrounded by furry friends. She grew up participating in dog and horse shows and in 2002 began a professional career as a dog trainer. After several years, Kristen wanted to continue to expand her animal training skills by working for several zoo and aquarium facilities in NY and CT. She has worked with a variety of species including: sea lions, seals, otters, penguins, belugas and various primates. Kristen now resides in CT where she trains marine mammals by day and enjoys time with her family and dog Kodiak by night. She wanted to find a way to share her knowledge and inspire others to use positive reinforcement techniques to get the results they're looking for.
